ORRVILLE – It’s a small church with a big mission.
Holy Tabernacle Apostolic Church, located at 498 County Road 3, is on a mission to serve the community.
According to Pastor Aggie L. Hardy, the church’s motto is “Spirit of Excellence in all areas.”
The church has a daycare, food bank, Bible college, and an after-school program. And those are only some of the church’s ministries.
“We have everything here,” Hardy said.
The church has 50 members and visitors are greeted with a hug, smile and a blessing.
Services are held each Sunday following 10 a.m. Sunday School. Faith classes are held on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. and prayer services are held on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.
“I have been the pastor here for 17 years,” Hall said.
Not only does Hall minister to her local flock, she makes several trips to Sierra Leone in west Africa to minister.
She is an LPN, executive director of the daycare and an author of two books. One of her books is entitled “Destroying Giants.”
On Saturday, the church had a benefit program for a church member who Hardy said “suffered a loss.”
Hall said she is about ministering to the “social being of men and women.”
