Hornets fall hard at Bibb

A combination of injuries and penalties made for a tough night as the Dallas County Hornets fell 46-0 to homestanding Bibb County.
The Choctaws took control early on their way to a 22-0 first quarter lead and continued to cruise.
By the end of the half, Bibb County had capped the scoring in the game by building a 46-0 lead..
The Choctaws substituted freely in the second half, rolling up a total of 249 yards on the night to the Hornets’ 14 yards.
Ten of the Hornets 14 yards came on the ground, while only 4 yards came through the air.
The Choctaws entire yardage came on the ground.
The Choctaws rolled up seven first downs and had four penalties for 25 yards.
The Hornets could manage only one first downs and had six penalties for 30 yards.
Defensively, the Hornets had some strong performances.
Shadrick Jackson had five tackles and onne sack for an 8-yard loss.
He also had a fumble recovery.
He was followed by Rashawn Mosely, who had six tackles and an assist.
The Hornets, now 0-3 on the season, will hit the road again next week when the travel to Holt.
Kickoff is at 7 p.m. in Tuscaloosa.
