VALLEY GRANDE — A new name and a new menu is now available in the location of an old favorite in Valley Grande.
Friday marked the grand opening of BradMoore’s Southern Grill, which is in the building that formerly housed the Chuckwagon on Highway 22.
The restaurant, owners Clay Moore and Brad Parham said, will offer a mixture of sandwiches and heavier meals.
“For lunch, we will do specialty sandwiches like chicken Philly cheese steaks and Philly cheese steaks. Chicken parmesan sandwiches, turkey melts and other sandwiches and po-boys,” Moore said. “We’ll also do baskets for catfish, chicken, and shrimp.”
The dinner menu will include steaks and pastas mostly with some of the po-boys and baskets from lunch.
The owners are hands-on spending hours in the kitchen.
“Brad and I do most of the cooking,” he said. “We also have a staff of about 20 people.”
Moore said the restaurant is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and for dinner from 5 to 9 p.m.
On Sunday they will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for lunch. For more information, call 872-3337.
