Mr. Johnny Crowell, 77, resident of Montgomery, AL., formerly of Selma, AL., passed away September 8, 2011 in Montgomery, AL. Services will be held Thursday, September 15, 2011, 1:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Debra Phillips. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.
He was preceded in death by Ed and Annie Crowell; brother, Alfred Crowell; sister, Ethel Mae Powell.
Survivors include spouse, Dorothy Holmes Crowell; son, Tyrone Jackson; daughters, Brenda Crowell and Quintella Jackson; sister, Lelia Blevins; three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
