To the Editor:

This letter is to say “thank you” to the Selma Police!

There is much negative publicity in Selma concerning the rate of crime (for which the police seem to be blamed). To look at our situation from a positive viewpoint, our officers do outstanding enforcement every day.

They (repeatedly) close cases quickly and efficiently.

A case in point was the robbery at Cloverdale Apartments (at about 2 p.m. Friday afternoon).

By 5 p.m. the same day, the suspects had been arrested.

We, at the Selma Housing Authority, appreciate this quick action, and want to say Thank You to the officers involved.
