Ms. Bobbie Lee Carter
Ms. Bobbie Lee Carter, 60, of Sardis, died Dec. 29, 2006, at her home. Date of service will be announced. Lewis Brothers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Johnnie Fuller
Ms. Johnnie Fuller, age 57, of Marion, AL died on December 21, 2006 at her home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Hope Well Baptist Church with Rev. Jessie Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Green Liberty B.C. with Miller Funeral Service directing.
Survivors include: one son, Jimmy Lee Fuller; four brothers, Johnny L. Fuller, Willie E. Fuller, Andrew Fuller, and David Fuller; six sisters, Addie Fuller, Pauline Gooden, Shirley Fuller, Claudia Richardson, Bettie Walker, and Willie C. Edwards; three grandchildren, two daughters-in-laws, four brothers-in-laws, five sisters-in-laws, and a host of nieces.
Pallbearers will be brothers, nephews and friends.
Margaret Daniel Lee
Margaret Daniel Lee, 79, of Selma, died Dec. 29, 2006. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, in the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with the Rev. Lee Tate officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery. Family visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband, Lamar Bill Lee; son, Tony Lamar Lee (Mary Drue); grandsons, Daniel and Dalton Lee; brother, James William Daniel; sister-in-law, Mildred Daniel and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her son, Billie Joe Lee; brother, Charlie Q. (Mildred) Daniel; sister-in-law, Quedale (William) Daniel.
Pall bearers will be Mike Bradshaw, Bob Culpepper, Henry Spivey, Ronnie South, Taylor South and Will South.
Deacon Aaron Lewis
Deacon Aaron Lewis, 78, of Marion Junction died Dec. 22, 2006, at a local hospital
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 30 at New Parnell Baptist Church. The Rev. Earl Butler officiated. Interment was at New Parnell Cemetery.

Eunice Inez Peeples
Eunice Inez Peeples, age 75, of Selma died December 29, 2006. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Sunday, December 31, 2006 in the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Carwell officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Church Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Family visitation will be Saturday, December 30, 2006 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Survivors include: her husband, Pastor J. C. Peeples; daughter, Lona Mae Peeples Headley (Jerry); brother, Marvin Samuel Duncan; sisters, Marvine Epperson, Janie Groves and JoAnn Henry; two grandchildren, four great grandchildren and also a lot of friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lonnie H. Averette; father, William Marvin Duncan; daughters, Inez Peeples Glass and Patricia Darlene Peeples; brother, Johnny William Duncan; sisters, Irene Duncan, Inell Godwin and Christine Johnson. The family would like to give a very special thanks to Cahaba Hospice. Pallbearers will be Marvin Duncan, Curtis Cook, Raymond Cook, Charles Crain, Penny Peeples, Thomas A. Peeples, and J. E. Headley.
William Buchanan Thomas
William Buchanan Thomas, age 91, of Selma died Friday December 29, 2006. Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 30, 2006 at New Live Oak Cemetery with the Rev. George Sedberry officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing. Survivors include his daughter, Ann Thomas of Birmingham; a brother, Dr. Herbert Thomas of Birmingham. Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Ora Posey Thomas.
Cecil Bryant Atchison
Cecil Bryant Atchison, 51, of Selma, died Dec. 30, 2006. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, at Pineview Memory Gardens with Father Bill Darwin and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Atchison is survived by his mother, Geneva Atchison; sons, Coba Atchison and Casey Atchison; sisters, Jackie (Mike) Norris, Liz Rainwater, Tammy (John) Moore; and a brother, Jody (Beth) Atchison. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Tony and Chad Norris, Misty Mellett, Nathan and Blake Rainwater, Summer Posey, Chris Atchison and Clinton Atchison. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Atchison.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cathedral of Christ the King.
