The Meadowview Christian School Trojans couldn’t get it going at home, as they fell 53-0 against Jackson Academy.
“I thought our boys played hard in the second half,” said Lebo Jones, head coach of the Trojans. “Jackson had a real good team and they were better than us tonight.”
After the defeat, the Trojans (1-8, 0-6) now set their sights to next week’s homecoming game at Wasden Field against Abbeville Christian Academy.
“We’re going to get back to working on blocking and tackling,” Jones said. “We’re going to try to keep getting better. Homecoming’s a big game for us. We want to have a good showing for the fans. We beat Abbeville last year, and we can beat them again this year if we play good.”
