Ella Mae Robinson (Spivey) Smiley, of Selma, AL, died on June 24, 2006 at Warren Manor Nursing Home.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2006 at 1:00 PM at Freedom Baptist Church with Rev. James Spicer officiating. Burial will follow in Elmood Cemetery with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include: three sons, Lorenzo, Eric Merrell, and Fern Jerald Spivey, all of Selma; one daughter, Valarie Neely; four sisters, ten grandchildren, one great grandchild, one son-in-law, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be friends and family.

Visitation will be Friday night from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at Lewis Brothers Funeral Home Chapel.

Little Miss Jackeyce Lee

Little Miss Jackeyce Lee, age 5, of Selma died on June 23, 2006 in Perry County.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, July 1, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James McBride officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood with Miller Funeral Service directing.

Survivors include: her parents, Yvonshen Lee and Michael McBride; two sisters, Tenyce Lee and Makayla McBride, both of Selma; one aunt, Cora Ford (Selma, AL), one uncle, Andrew Ford, Jr. (Selma, AL) and a special cousin, Sahriah Johnson (Selma, AL).

Johnnie Lee Blevins, age 48, of Selma, AL, formerly of Orrville, AL, passed away on June 27, 2006.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2006 at 1:00 PM at Lewis Brothers Funeral Home Chapel with Alex Tenner officiating. Burial in Fulton Cemetery with Lewis Brothers directing.

He leaves to cherish his memories: two brothers, Willie and Lydell Blevins of Selma, AL; four sisters, Linda Blevins, Lula Lewis, Dorothy Perkins of Selma, AL and Connie Blevins of Beloit, AL; seven aunts, Lucille Mitchell of Orrville, Ruby Lee Brown of Marion Junction, Willie Mae Bennett of Beloit, Mary Blevins of Mobile, Laura Smith of Birmingham, Cora Blevins and Lozie Ann Hardy of Boston, Mass; four uncles, Ollie James Blevins, Willie Tim Blevins of Marion Junction and Alex Blevins of Orrville.

Aaron J. Steele, age 52, of Keesler Drive, died on June 26, 2006 at home.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, July 1, 2006 at 1:00 PM at Miller Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Shiloh directed by Miller Funeral Service.

Survivors include: father, John C. Steele; two sons, Steven Steele and Booker T. Dosey; four daughters, Victoria F. Dosey, Melissa Dosey, Barbara Dosey, and Stacy Ndimbalain; one brother, Ronnie Steele; two sisters, Patricia Steele and Debra Steele; thirteen grandchildren, one sister-in-law and a special friend, Daisy Mae Dosey.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, July 2, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul E. Coleman officiating. Burial in Good Hope Cemetery with Miller Funeral Service directing.

Survivors include: her father, James Edwards; one sister, Jacquelyn Coleman of Fresno, Texas; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mrs. Idethia Sanders, age 96, of Coatopa, Alabama passed June 27, 2006 at Woodhaven Manor Nursing Home in Demopolis, Alabama.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2006 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Coatopa, Alabama. Rev. Wesley Winston will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Coatopa, Alabama.

The remains will repose at the church on Saturday beginning at 12:00 noon.
