William E ‘Bill’ Taylor

William E. “Bill” Taylor, age 78, of Selma, AL passed away December 28, 2005.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 30, 2005, 2:00 p.m.at Elkdale Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Henry and Rev. Micah Gandy officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens.

The body will lie in state prior to the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Elkdale Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Nickie Taylor of Selma, AL; two sons, Wayne (Beth) Taylor of Selma, AL and Gary Taylor of Salem, OR; one brother, Jack (Bernie) Coker of Cummings, GA; one sister, JoeAnn (William) Norris of Montgomery, AL; one grandchild, Nicholas (Brian) Seymore and two great grandchildren, Mary Taylor Seymore and William Andrew Seymore.

Active pallbearers will be Mr. Taylor’s nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Frank Earnest’s Sunday School Class.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Elkdale Mississippi Mission Fund, c/o Elkdale Baptist Church, 2221 Elkdale Street, Selma, AL
